Dina Meyer was born and raised at Forest Hills Queens New York. Before she finished the junior high school, she moved to Queens and moved to Dix Hills Long Island. Dina Meyer is the sister of two brothers, Gregory is her elder brother and Evan is her younger brother. In the years between nine to 16 the first time she was exposed to the industry was when she started modeling. She began her training in acting in The Neighborhood Playhouse in New York and studied Sanford Meisner's acting techniques, with Ron Stetson, for about three years. Sandra Bullock and Michael Douglas were among other actors that received this education. Her first role was in the soap-opera Beverly Hills, 90210, in which she had to relocate away from Los Angeles. After a couple of months, she was offered the part as Johnny Mnemonic. For this film, she was in charge of almost every stunt and proved herself to be an experienced actress. It was through the agents Matt LeBlanc, the talent agent Matt LeBlanc that she was successful in securing a regular role in the TV show Friends.
